INTRODUCTION
by Khin C
Hello, I’m Khin, a hobbyist photographer drawn to moments shaped by stillness, patience, and quiet observation.
From a young age, I was drawn to Japanese culture through 1990s Japanese cars and vintage items. Long before photography became a practice, I was already observing lines, textures, wear, and the way time leaves its mark.
Since 2015, Japan has been a recurring chapter in my life. Over nearly a decade of returning, sometimes for weeks, sometimes for months, I learned to see beyond landmarks and into the rhythms of everyday life. Moving between dense cityscapes and quiet neighbourhoods, I found calm within movement and meaning within simplicity
During the quieter years of the pandemic, I finally had space to slow down and reflect. That pause led to a desire to shape years of observation into something tangible, photographic prints, objects, and work meant to be lived with, not just looked at.
That same mindset carries into my time in the garage. Through late-night drives and restoring old machines, I learned that good work takes time. Whether behind a camera or under workshop lights, the process is the same: respect the craft, be patient, and work with care.
This journal brings together streets, machines, and the moments in between, a personal record shaped by years of returning, refining, and learning to trust the process.

PRINTS FOR CHARITY
By Khin C
I always believe that there's always a reason behind everything. All this while, I have been taking photos purely as my hobby and did not have the confidence to even think of setting up a site or producing prints. Not until 2020, an extremely harmful year in our history, with lockdowns and restrictions, people losing their jobs, lost and stuck. I took time to reflect and a pause in my daily result-driven work life to be grateful for life and think of what to do.
Finally, I considered tidying my storage and selling unwanted goods, generating income from value depreciation, and using a big part of this income for charity. One day, I was tidying my memory cards to clear up space and creating folders for my photographs, and an idea came to me, "maybe I can link my hobby of photography to my passion for making a difference in others' lives?" There are many ways to make a difference in people's lives; it can be as simple as a smile, quick motivation, or positive comments to something more impactful, like paying medication bills and providing necessities to the less fortunate.
A friendly reminder for us all: some people are suffering even in good times and good years. While we can surf the internet, wake up without pain and have a home to stay in during bad times, there is no reason for you to feel negative.
I am sincerely grateful and appreciate all the love and support for me.
So here I am, decided to make good use of the extra time staying in to set up this page to share my hobby and try to establish a win-win situation using my prints. A beautiful print for your home, business or office and funds that goes to supporting the less fortunate in my hometown. Perfect.
I have always linked my work to charity for those who don't know me much. I usually focus on helping individuals who need support, whether settling bills for medical supplies, providing basic shelter, education or necessities; I will always try my best to support them even if I can only help one person. I will leave the opportunities of partnering with established NGOs and NPOs to the more prominent groups; I am sure they will do the job perfectly. We will continue to take small steps and a more personal approach to make a difference in someone else's life.
Stay safe, and let's do some good work for the less fortunate.
